Succulent Vegan Tacos opened its first pop-up shop in the Nashville Farmers’ Market Grow Local Kitchen in July 2017. The pop-up will continue as a monthly event until it opens a permanent location this fall. The menu is inspired by the street food of Mexico City. It will include vegan pan dulce, tortas, and tamales.
Koko’s vegan ice cream
Whether you’re a local or visiting Nashville, you’ll want to check out Koko’s vegan ice cream. This is the city’s only plant-based ice cream shop and offers guilt-free frozen treats made with coconut milk. It’s also free from tree nuts and peanuts. The shop is operated by two musicians. They started out as a small scoop shop pulled around on a bike, and now have a brick-and-mortar location.
The menu features many vegan and gluten-free options. For lunch, you can order a variety of salads and sandwiches. The restaurant has rotating specials, so you never know what you’ll find.
